Talking Health in the 406, where we are one community under the Big Sky, is a communication on a variety of wellness topics designed to raise awareness of health issues that impact the daily lives of Montanans. Talking Health in the 406 is intended for everyone, all Montanans, their families, friends and those visiting our great state. Kira Dierickx

Kira Flagstead Dierickx, REHS/RS is a public health sanitarian and registered environmental health specialist for the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services Environmental Health and Food Safety (EHFS) section. She earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, with a minor in writing, from Rocky Mountain College and is currently pursuing a certificate in Environmental Health Sciences. Outside of work, she unwinds with horror books and podcasts; ask her if you need a recommendation for a good scare!
